Common issues
I can't log in
- Make sure you're using the correct email or social provider (Google / Apple)
- If you signed up with Google or Apple, you must use the same provider to log back in — you can't switch
- Try "Forgot password?" on the login screen for email-based accounts
- If your account was created on another device, you may need to verify your email first
I lost my planet / progress
- Game progress resets at the end of each season — this is by design. Your Commander Career profile keeps lifetime stats across seasons
- If you lost progress mid-season, contact us with your email and planet name. We can investigate and potentially restore from backup
I'm being attacked and can't defend
- New players have 96 ticks (48 hours) of personal protection after joining
- After protection: join an alliance for mutual defense, build Planetary Defense Systems (PDS) via the Defense queue (requires Basic Defense Systems research)
- Score-based attack rules limit who can target you — anyone more than 5× your score is blocked
Push notifications aren't working
- Check your device notification settings for Orbitarion
- Make sure notifications are enabled in the in-app settings (per category — battle, nebula, alliance, etc.)
- Push notifications for many event types require a Premium Commander subscription. See Premium for which events are premium-only
- Free players see all events in the in-app news feed — push is the premium add-on
My Premium subscription isn't activating
- Tap Restore Purchases on the Premium screen — this re-syncs with your store records
- Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase
- If you purchased on one platform (iOS) and the entitlement isn't appearing on another (Android), verify you're using the same Orbitarion account on both
- If the entitlement is still missing 24 hours after purchase, contact [email protected] with your receipt details
I found a bug
- Report it on Discord in the #bugs channel — fastest path to the dev

I want to delete my account
- In-app: Settings → Profile → Delete My Account
- Or email [email protected] from your registered email

A player is harassing me / cheating
- Report on Discord in #support with the player's planet name and any context (screenshots, battle logs)
- Or email [email protected] with the same information
- We take harassment and cheating seriously — see Terms of Service for our enforcement policy
Outages and incidents
If the game appears to be down (no ticks processing, can't log in, app freezes after launch), check Discord first. We announce all incidents in the #announcements channel, including:
- Planned maintenance windows
- Tick watchdog alerts (no tick in 10+ minutes)
- Database or hosting incidents
- Recovery status updates
For major incidents, we also post on Orbitarion's social media channels and may pause the active round to prevent player damage during the issue. Paused rounds resume from the same tick number once resolved — no game time is lost.
